Announcement
- Each family is required to earn a minimum of 40 participation points for the season. Additionally, we ask that each family either sell one, $100, Texas Hold-Em ticket or donate one, $100 value, auction-ready (i.e. in basket, wrapped, etc) item for the Texas Hold-Em night. Lastly, we ask that each family time for two shifts.
- Beginning 2023, Parents have an option to “opt-out” of the participation points, and Texas Hold-Em fundraising for a fee of $300. This fee must be paid up-front before the season. We still ask families to time two shifts.
- Having families time for two shifts is necessary to keep our meets running smoothly. It is a great way to see your children up close, usually be provided shade, and a cooler spot for the day.
- Most point opportunities are listed on the team website for signup.
- If you are volunteering for one of the jobs listed below for another swimmer’s family, you MUST speak to the person who is responsible for tracking points and let them know what position you are volunteering for, the amount of time you will be volunteering and what family the points will be going to BEFORE you show up for your shift. You may not “gift” points to another family at the end of the season.
- In general, you earn points at the rate of one, 1, point per hour. All work performed at the pool must be approved by a board member or the head coach. A point sheet will be posted at the pool to record work performed there.
- If you have any special skill set that may be utilized to help around our facility, please speak to a board member or coach. We are always in need of people to help improve or repair our facility. These skills can be traded for points.
